Hi! I am Jan!
Originally from the coast of Slovenia. Since the age of 10, I have been pursuing music starting with trumpet.
After high school I moved to Graz where I studied jazz trumpet (BA) and composition (MA) and taking jazz and classical singing lessons paralelly.
I have been professionally singing and playing the trumpet since 2017 in all kinds of genre, contexts (lead vocal, backing vocal, soloist, section player) and group sizes (from duo to orchestra).
I wave been working as an arranger/composer writing music for various short movies and arranging for big ensembles.
Being an educator (since 2019) has been equally as important to me as the artistic pursuit. I have experience teaching private one-on-one lessons, coaching bands and big group workshops.
In addition, have experience with producing and mixing in various DAWs (Ableton, Logic, Studio One, Reaper,…).
